Aéroports de Paris – 2013 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report

The report has been written as part of the project to measure the air emissions generated by Aéroports de Paris SA. The sites covered by the report are the Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget airports, general aviation aerodromes, and the company head office in Paris (on boulevard Raspail). The reference year for when the first measurements were taken is 2011. This report has been written in accordance with Article 75 of Law no. 2010-788 of 12 July 2010, regarding governmental commitment to environmental protection.

The report Turn Down the Heat: Confronting the New Climate Normal is a result of contributions from a wide range of experts from across the globe. The report follows Turn Down the Heat: Climate Extremes, Regional Impacts and the Case for Resilience, released in June 2013 and Turn Down the Heat: Why a 4°C Warmer World Must be Avoided, released in November 2012. We thank everyone who contributed to its richness and multidisciplinary outlook. The report has been written by a team from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Climate Analytics.

Peru ist Gastgeberland der diesjährigen Weltklimakonferenz, bei der sich die Vertragsstaaten der UN-Klimarahmenkonvention UNFCCC sowie des Kyoto-Protokolls treffen.Die jährlich stattfindende Vertragsstaatenkonferenz (Conference of the Parties, COP) ist das höchste Gremium der Klimarahmenkonvention UNFCCC. In diesem internationalen Übereinkommen haben sich alle Industrieländer zur Reduktion ihres Ausstoßes an Treibhausgasen verpflichtet.Die zwölftägige Konferenz findet in der peruanischen Hauptstadt Lima statt.
